* For some reason I forgot to publish this last month. Even thought some of this is old news, it is still encouraging and the prayer requests are still relevant. Thank you for giving my grace!
Dear Friends,
We have been putting this command into practice lately, “But set Christ apart as Lord in your hearts and always be ready to give an answer to anyone who asks about the hope you possess. Yet do it with courtesy and respect.” 1 Peter 3:15-16 NET Your prayers and gifts are making an eternal difference!
Atlanta House Church Our church is committed to
life-style evangelism with neighbors and co-workers. Recently my beekeeping
allowed me to meet Diana and Tony, who are engaged to be married in August.
They came over for dinner last night, and both Danelle and myself shared how we
came to know Christ personally. Two days ago, I was able to tell a young man
named Chris that I befriended at LA Fitness, about the hope I have through
Christ.
Pray for our church to care deeply about unbelievers and share Christ with them. Photo of Tony (right), with our old friend Bill Hollis, at Costco catching a swarm of bees (in the white box).
Pastors & Wives Conference -April 9-10 Danelle and I enjoyed our
marriage conference. It is always helpful to stop and evaluate one’s
relationship and make any heart changes God shows you. It was also a treat to
be with so many dear friends who love the Lord and are committed to the Great
Commission. Here we are pictured with Larry and Corey Messer from Gainesville,
Florida.
Prayer & Praise
1. Atlanta Church - Pray for many people to come to Christ,
including Tony and Diana. Ask God to grip our hearts with His love for
unbelievers so that we build friendships with them and help them find God.
2. Our Family - Pray for our two sons-in-law who are interviewing
for jobs. Pray for our daughter Merry who is expecting in August. Finally, pray for progress
in the adoption of the twins. It is looking hopeful!
3. Steve’s New Book - Pray for insight during the
editing process and for attractive illustrations.
Thank you for being our teammates!
Steve & Danelle
